Whether you're looking for a residential home or new independent housing, Pilgrims' Friend Society offers vibrant Christian communities where your faith will flourish.

Our Christian communities

At Pilgrims' Friend Society, we’re proud to be a leading provider of Christian communities for older people through residential care homes and independent living housing schemes.

With 21 communities in England and Scotland and growing, our properties feel like home because we're all part of the family of Christ. Our faith assures us that when we live for God, the best is always yet to come, so everything we do focuses on supporting older people in their spiritual growth and continued devotion. From daily acts of worship to regular opportunities to share God's love with others, there's always something going on where you can connect with others and feel encouraged.

Rooted in our Christian faith, we have developed our own unique approach to care, The Way We Care. This includes our approach to dementia care.

The Way We Care

Our bespoke approach to care puts the whole person - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual, at the heart of our communities.

Growing for the future

Our Growth and Renewal Programme will see an expansion of our work so that more people benefit from Christian care through buildings designed to support The Way We Care.

We invest in all our homes and, where we have buildings with limitations and a limited lifespan, we are working to replace them with a new building. Each new home will be a state-of-the-art, residential care home designed in households to create safe and familiar spaces for older people to flourish in later life.

The first new home was Middlefields House in Chippenham which was opened during the Summer of 2021, with new homes to follow at Homesdale in Wanstead, London in early/mid 2028 and in Crawley during 2029.
